系統結構：
1至8個測試單元通過系統總線與計算機相連，接受協調、統一的調度；測試單元通過用戶線接口與交換機相連。

系統容量：
每測試單元含64線測試電路，8臺測試單元通過系統總線可復連成一個512線的測試系統。最多16個測試系統可復連成一個8192線的擴展系統。

單元復連：
測試單元間通過DB25復連電纜復連。不同測試單元中的測試電路在調度與時序控制中由計算機統一控制以保證呼損精度定位。

呼叫能力：
測試單元典型呼叫能力為25.000呼叫/小時(雙音頻撥號、通路測試、32對線)。實際測試呼叫量與被測交換機響應速度有關。

The Anritsu EF104A is a Call Simulator, with HPIB and RS-232C interface. It is used for development, manufacturing and testing digital telephone switching systems. The EF104A is a more sophisticated version than the EF101A. It simulates 64 telephone sets and provides such sophisticated functions as GPIB control, call mixing (which generates various types of calls simultaneously), and tone analysis. The EF104A can simulate a broad range of operations under a full range of light to excessive traffic loads.
